Jamie Oliver inspired me to get it. He keeps crushing garlic without taking the cloves out of their skins. And I broke our old press by doing this – it had plastic parts and wasn’t up to the pressure. This one is all metal, and is advertised for this particular purpose. Plus it has its own cute, blue tool for getting those last bits of garlic out.

It really does make crushing garlic MUCH easier – no peeling off the fiddly skin. Hoping it can take the pressure!
