Haggis with honey and lavender creme fraiche

Just had the most delicious nibbles at an event at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Possibly the most unexpected way with haggis I’ve ever had!

The haggis were wee crispy balls, presumably deep fried. The haggis was good too – it can often be a bit over cooked, or bad quality.

The dip was creme fraiche with honey and wee lavender flowers. Delicious. First time I’ve ever had haggis with anything sweet – and it worked.
