Shallots are great. Love eating them. Love cooking with them. Love putting them in whole with roast vege (some whole cloves of garlic, in their skins, wouldn’t go amiss here either).

I hate peeling them. They are so fiddly! Having just peeled two bags of shallots for tomorrow night’s dinner I sure hope all that picking and peeling was worth it…
