A serious question relating to desserts: what’s in the King of Tortes?
Husband saw John Grisham’s King of Torts on the bookshelf and asked (hopefully? jokingly?) if it was about chocolate tortes.
I said no. But pointed out that surely a chocolate torte would be the Queen of Tortes.
He thought the Queen of Quiches was more appropriate. But I felt (perhaps wrongly) that quiche was a bit of downgrade for royalty. And ladies.
So now I need to know what would be in the King of Tortes, and what’s in the Queen of Tortes. Or the Queen of Quiches after all?
