To celebrate hubbie’s birthday we were torn between takeout and splashing out – the latter won out. We were trying to decide how to while away a few hours this afternoon when we spotted the entrance to a M&S foodhall – the fates had spoken.
- We started with spring rolls – delicious, but a bit soggy and stuck to my inefficient baking tray
- Followed by dim sum and posh prawn toast – both yum!
- And finally: battered chicken with S&S dip, beef in black bean; chicken in S&S. Served with friend rice and vege chow mein.
I love any excuse for a foodie treat! Happy birthday, babe.
