Mix fresh (or defrosted) prawns, rinsed and dried, with:
- tomato passata
- fat free fromage frais
- low fat mayonnaise
- with a little Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce , and salt & pepper to taste
Serve over shredded lettuce, and sprinkle a very little paprika on top.
Slimming World Syns: this recipe is very low Syns – only a few for the low fat mayo.
Dinner was the (now) traditional turkey with all the trimmings – roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, parsnips, Brussel sprouts, chipolatas, bacon rolls and stuffing. On the side were: gravy, bread sauce and cranberry sauce.
Slimming World-friendly roast potatoes are simple; par-boiled potatoes, sprayed with plenty of Fry Light, and roasted in the oven for over an hour.
Dessert was pecan pie, served with cream.
