Eating out – Eat

Eating at the airport doesn’t usually thrill me (with the possible exception of Stansted – I use it as an excuse to eat at Frankie & Benny’s). But Eat intrigued me. And it was actually pretty decent.

Upon first inspection, the price left a little to be desired. But actually, when I got stuck in to my pho soup it was a good sized portion.

You pick the soup container (with vege, noddles, etc inside) at the chiller cabinet. The pho soup had vege, noodles and chicken, with chilli, coriander and lime. The flavour of the soup (they add the broth at the counter) improved as the broth heated the ingredients through. A good light meal. Tasty. Healthy.

The coffee was big (as it said on the mug) and hot. They let me have a slimy latte, so that was a plus.

There were lots of other cold and hot food options, including pies and all sorts.

Recommended.
