There’s not really much to say about this dish – strawberries and cream are meant to be together.
These strawberries were in the reduced section – I usually find that this means they’re a bit riper, and warmer, than those still in the chiller – better al round to my mouth.
In an effort to save calories, the cream was a budget brand light cream. And from a can – the best way to get low fat, and a creamy flavour! Because it’s a UHT cream it has a fraction of the calories of a fresh reduced fat version, let alone the fresh full fat version. A good one to remember for slimmers.
