Prawn chowder: Happy Birthday Papa!

In case you wondered how the prawn chowder turned out in the end – it was great! Really easy to transport and reheat, adding the prawns and heating through, before serving with bacon bits on top. Papa was very pleased with his chowder and had been hoping for prawns at some point in his birthday meal! It was a wee but spicy but not overly so, and the blitzed corn made it deliciously thick and creamy.

Please note that as well as a pleased grin, while eating his prawn chowder Papa is also wearing a white tux and bow tie. We do it with style in our house!
