Rob’s pork and noodles

Our friend, Rob, used to be a chef and eating his food is always a delight! Last night we were treated to a simply delicious meal. And literally simple – Rob quite rightly pointed out that sometimes the best meals are the simplest!

This delicious meal had two key parts:
– pork, smothered in black bean and chilli, and roasted
– noodles and vege.

The top tip with the noodles was to prepare the stock and bring to the boil. Pop in the noodles and bring to the boil. Pop in sliced carrots and bring to the boil. Pop in sprouted broccoli and bring the boil. When your vege are you own preference of crispy then the whole lot should be done.

The pork was absolutely delicious. Black bean is much underrated – I’m guilty of that! Rob is a big fan and he’s got it down pat. The chilli in the black bean added a good spice to the dish. The meat was delicious and moist.
