Strawberries, grapes, melon and orange: fruit salad

In advance of eating a breakfast of sausages this morning, I made a fruit salad in the hope that it would balance out the venison and red wine goodness. More on the sausages later…

– One punnet of strawberries, sliced in half.
– A handful or so of grapes.
– Half a melon, sliced into wedges, skinned and then chopped into chunks
– An orange, sliced and skinned. Each slice given a wee squeeze before putting in the bowl, and any flesh left on the skin squeezed for juice.

Serve with a healthy dollop of fat free Greek yoghurt and a squeeze of honey (I find orange blossom honey goes really well fruit salad).

Slimming World Syns: aside from the honey, this delicious breakfast is Syn FREE.
