What other people feed me: salad, peanut M&Ms and breakfast

I was having a girls night with a very good friend and I had the delight of having someone else cook for me.

We started with salad. The great thing about other people’s salads is that you get to eat a salad made with completely different ingredients than you would if you were making it yourself. Tonight’s salad included: baby leaf lettuce; chopped tomatoes; sweetcorn, cooked chicken pieces; and a little grated cheese. Andrea had me make up some of my usual balsamic dressing: 3 parts olive oil; one part balsamic vinegar; a little salt and pepper; and some dried basil.

There were Nachos a la Andrea, but I will save them for another post another time. They are so good they deserve their own post.

We nibbled on peanut M&Ms during the movie.

Breakfast was: tomatoes, cooked for a few minutes in the frying pan; bacon (with the majority of the fat trimmed off as a nod to Slimming World); and scrambled eggs. Oh, and plenty of coffee, of course!
