Cauliflower and herb soup

This lunch time Mum made some cauliflower soup, with the leftover cauliflower from dinner last night.

She added some grated potato and cooked the vege with stock. After the potato was cooked I used the hand blender to blitz the soup. Mum added seasoning, and some chopped parsley too. But it still tasted a little bland. So, what to do? More stock? More seasoning?

I suggested adding some herbs, and went with dried mixed herbs so as to cover all the bases. I added it a little at a time, until the flavour was sufficiently infused through the soup. It was all very good and I had two bowls!
