She added some grated potato and cooked the vege with stock. After the potato was cooked I used the hand blender to blitz the soup. Mum added seasoning, and some chopped parsley too. But it still tasted a little bland. So, what to do? More stock? More seasoning?
I suggested adding some herbs, and went with dried mixed herbs so as to cover all the bases. I added it a little at a time, until the flavour was sufficiently infused through the soup. It was all very good and I had two bowls!
