An Arbroath smokie for breakfast

Wow, If I wasn’t a fan of smokies before, I am now! Stuart’s Fresh Fish did me proud and this freshly smoked smokie was absolutely divine. I was advised to cut it down the back, remove the main spine of bones, dot it with butter and grill under a medium grill for 3 minutes. And it was extremely good – succulent, and fresh, and delicious. If you’re going to have a smokie: go to Arbroath to get one fresh (1pm is the best time, as they’re coming out of the smoker) and eat it that day.
