Homemade garlic bread

I love garlic bread! However, one member of our household doesn’t eat garlic (and you get out of the habit of using it) and I’ve been steering clear of bread this past while. So this was a treat.

Take one part-baked baguette and make six or so slices in the baguette (but not all the way through!). Mix a couple of tablespoons of butter with crushed garlic – I’d say one clove at least per tablespoon of butter. Spread the garlic butter into the bread slices. Place on a baking sheet and cook as per the packet instructions (probably about 8-10 minutes). Serve while hot.
