Meatballs!! Even Quorn meatballs are worth getting excited about. As well as the meatballs, the tomato sauce had lots of vegetables: garlic, onion, red onion, carrots and – of course – tinned tomatoes and passata. I also added some cooked bacon bits (smoked bacon) for extra flavour. I added seasoning to the sauce: dried basil, Balsamic vinegar, and freshly cracked black pepper. Once the sauce had had a chance to mature, I added a bunch of cooked pasta, and served.
