We had a nearly full pack of tortilla wraps lying around and couldn’t decide what to do with them. They’re not very Slimming World friendly – over 10 Syns each! So I’ve been avoiding eating them on a regular basis, though I did used to love fajita wraps. Anyway, we bought the wraps for making easy calzone, and had some left over.
The calzone were an opportunity to treat tortillas completely differently than I normally do; tortillas can be more than just wraps. So Hubby set to and made some garlic bread.
– cook the tortilla on a hot griddle or frying pan for 2 minutes on one side
– flip over
– spray liberally with Fry Light and sprinkle with garlic butter seasoning, or a mixture of garlic salt, freshly ground black pepper and oregano would work too
– cook for another minute or so
– use scissors to cut in to strips or wedges, and serve while hot
