Spinach & ricotta tortelloni and garlic bread

Tonight’s dinner was more stuffed pasta, this time tortelloni.

My favourite pasta filling is spinach and ricotta, and it’s an easy one to do yourself too. My favourite way is to stuff cannelloni tubes with spinach and ricotta, and top with a tomato sauce and grated cheese before baking in the oven.

I served this tortelloni with a garlic ciabatta (I did the same the other night when we had ravioli).

I hadn’t appreciated that tortelloni was different from tortellini: the latter is smaller, and often served in a broth.
