Wow. The Fish Market was fantastic. Superb food, great service, and just the right amount of air con!
We started with some crabettes to share – they were somewhere between crab cakes and meat balls, but altogether lighter and fluffier. They defied logic! Absolutely scrumptious.
I had The Admiral’s grilled platter, which included:
– crab Imperial (crab served in a clam shell topped with creamy sauce)
The platter was served with asparagus and roast potatoes. On the side was a mysterious tomato sauce that tasted like mustard – one I’ll have to investigate.
When our server found out we were from Scotland he asked about Celtic football club. Turns out he’s from Honduras, as is one of Celtic’s players. A football conversation ensued. Small world.
