When in Canada, drink as the Canadians do

Having worked our way north from Tennessee (via Cincinnati) we made it to Canada, and London. The first night of our trip we were treated to some homegrown Canadian drinks:

  • Caesar’s are the equivalent of Bloody Mary’s, but with a premixed tomato juice including clam sauce, called Clamato. In addition, the rim of the glass is dipped celery salt (yummy). The drink has the usual vodka and spices, including Worcestershire sauce.
  • a Canadian Sauvignon Blanc by Henry of Pelham, based at Niagara.

A jolly good way to start our stay!
