A wedding, a buffet and some meringue cake

The wedding breakfast at this weekend’s nuptials was courtesy of a friend of the groom’s family – Tiffy. The cold buffet was delish: salmon; rare roast beef; salads, both green and tomato; couscous; and chicken salads. It tasted as good as it looks.

As well as catering, Tiffy also has meals for sale locally. We’ve had the pleasure of sampling her wares a couple of times, and it is all good.

For dessert the groom had requested Tiffy’s chocolate hazelnut meringue cake. It’s divine, so I can fully understand the special request. It has to be tasted to be believed, but it’s the perfect blend of crisp and goo, and chocolate and nut.
