Eating out: a Club for lunch at Reid’s, Perth

This weekend we had lunch at Reid’s cafe in Perth. It was busy during the late lunch period (always a good sign) and they made space for us (5 is always and awkward number) inside (it wasn’t all that warm!). We walked past the cakes on the counter, which all looked delicious – I was sorry I didn’t have enough space for one.

Service was good and prompt too, despite the fact we were told Hubby’s burger might hold things up a few minutes. His bacon cheese burger was very good, as was my Club sandwich. In fact, my sandwich was really good and tasty: I’m easy pleased with gherkins, cooked meats and a bit of salad. The chips were fine too, and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals: one of which was a spicy beef panino that looked and sounded fab!

Reid’s is a great cafe: good food, good service and a good atmosphere. The prices are reasonable. The decorative mirrors are – literally – awesome.

And I see they do dinner: I’ll be trying that.
