This Valentine’s Day I bought Hubby a heart-shaped silicon cake mould. He was ecstatic, and his first suggestion was a heart-shaped meatloaf – typical! But I did try it out with a couple of cakes: one for him (double chocolate!) and one for my colleagues in the office as a post-Valentine’s treat.
The cake was red velvet, courtesy of Betty Crocker; the icing was strawberry cheesecake-flavoured, courtesy of Tesco; the filling was strawberry jam; and the sprinkles were pink and shiny.
