I like eating. I like cooking. I recently got married and Husband is very encouraging about my cooking. Particularly food for him.

So in 2010 I resolved to cook 52 new recipes in the year – I’ve reposted those journal entries (including recipes) here.

And in 2011 I joined Slimming World, having put on 2 stone (28 pounds or 13 kilos) since we were married. So far I’ve lost 35 pounds – and counting! My recipes these days have a different focus, and different ingredients – “fat free” and Splenda will figure highly. But for those of you not trying to lose weight, these “healthy” alternatives can be swapped for tastier ingredients.

So, I think this blog will look at food I’m cooking and eating, including when we eat out. But watch this space…
